After months of hard work and collaboration, students from Ðǿմ«Ã½’s Plumbing, Carpentry, and Electrical programs at the Woodstock campus proudly unveiled their completed tiny home as part of their experiential learning. Made possible by a generous $50,000 donation from Nigel Drake and his wife Carolyn, this project gave students real-world, hands-on experience and aims to address the growing need for affordable housing in the community.
The cozy, beautifully designed 14’ x 32’ home—featuring one bedroom, one bathroom, and built to modern efficiency and sustainability standards—will be open for bidding. Once sold, the proceeds will fund the next student build, creating a sustainable cycle of education and community support.
